CHRISTCHURCH MASSACRE

The Fiji Association notes with great sadness, that a large number of devotees gathered at two Christchurch Mosques were killed, in a hate crime, which has been described by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern as one of New Zealand's darkest hours. To date, 50 victims have been named as at 16 March 2019. They include two former Fijians. As the world joins New Zealand in our grief, several noteworthy fund raising projects are underway to assist families of victims. The Association has added a small donation and urges support to whatever cause you are able to assist with. Our thoughts are with the victims' families and the various communities affected by this terrible crime.
